Adobe Acrobat® Capture® software is a professional production tool that teams with your scanner to convert volumes of paper documents into searchable (PDF) files. Accurate OCR, advanced page and content recognition, and powerful cleanup tools let you turn all your important paper-based information into high-quality electronic documents ready for publication via the Web, intranets, extranets, CD-ROM, and more. Adobe Acrobat® Approval
Fill it in, sign it, save it. With Adobe Acrobat® Approval, you can fill in, sign, and save interactive forms. Moving to a paper-based forms workflow with an electronic forms solution begins with authoring the eForm. First, use create electronic forms that look just like the paper version but also include pop-up boxes, buttons, and fields that can include automatic calculations and validations. Next, Acrobat® Approval can be used to save eForms to your computer to fill in at your convenience, spell-check, and apply 128-bit encryption or password protection before submitting. Moving to an eForms solution can accelerate approval cycles and reduce costly data-entry errors.

The Edge Product Line by Integrated Digital Systems

Integrated Digital Systems seven years ago introduced a new line of products for document imaging and content management starting with OfficEdge™ and leading up to the many versions of our new release Edge 2004™. These products reflect the years of experience an the imaging industry. Over the years IDS has listened to our customers and designed products that are easy to use yet provide a wealth of capabilities that meet customer needs.

IDS Products for Xerox Solutions

Over the past 5 years IDS has worked with numerous operations within the Xerox organization and has designed applications, modules and interfaces that enhance both Xerox and IDS products. Product detailed descriptions can be found on the IDS Document Management Solution website. A couple of the key products designed by IDS over the past year for Xerox products have been:

Document Centre™ to DocuShare® Direct Module (DCDS™)
DCDS™ 2.0 and 3.0 were designed to allow end-users to scan hard copy documents from a scan enabled Xerox Document Centre™ to a document repository in DocuShare®. This module enables the meta-data functionality of the Document Centre™ products to tag and archive hard copy documents into DocuShare®.

DCDS™ can be configured to monitor up to six Document Centre™ scanning locations (FTP directories) and move the scanned documents from these directories to up to six DocuShare® servers or six location within a single DocuShare® server based on the Template Settings.

DS Retriever™ Module (DSRM™)
DSRM™ provides a simple method to capture documents, folders, and entire collections in DocuShare® for the purpose of archiving the documents for future search and retrieval. The basic product provides the ability to search DocuShare® for documents to be archived based on given specific criteria criteria and perform one of the following options:

  • Download a copy of the results of your search
  • Archive documents/content to a hard drive or offline storage.
  • Archive documents/content with a pointer in DocuShare® to Archive Information
  • Archive document/content and write document or file content metadata to an ODBC compliant database for searching metadata content to locate a document.

Kofax Product Modules for Xerox Products
These modules provide the easy integration of the award winning Kofax Ascent Capture products and features with Xerox Document Centres™ and DocuShare®.
