VisionShape Small
Format Scanners
 In 2002 IDS introduced it’s small format document scanning solution
using the Vision Shape C500 scanner. This solution provided for
production level scanning of checks, delivery tickets, cash register and
credit card receipts for our customers.Automatic Document Feeder
Ideal for back or front-office operation, an automatic document feeder
capable of accepting 200 checks is included with every scanner. Checks
and other small documents loaded into the auto feeder can be scanned
unattended in batches. (Except that the CS550 has a smaller exit tray to
accommodate the reject pocket)
Standard SCSI Interface
Scanned images are transmitted to the PC utilizing a standard SCSI
interface. This allows standard, low cost SCSI controllers to be used to
interface the scanner. (recommended model Adaptec 2940)
MICR Codeline Reading
The CS-500/550 Turbo automatically reads the MICR line while scanning
the checks. The output is delivered to the PC through the SCSI
interface.
Anti-skew Transport Assists OCR & ICR
Check images scanned at 100 or 200 dpi (either bitonal or 16/256 levels
of gray), can be processed through various OCR/ICR products to
automatically recognize courtesy amounts, MICR code line, or other data.
