IDS Releases DCIM: Document Centre™ to iManage Direct™
IDSS announces a new product, IDSS Document Centre™ to iManage Direct™ (“DCIM”). DCIM allows hard-copy documents to be scanned using a Xerox Document Centre™ and stored in any iManage Database. DCIM can notify the user at their desktop that a new document is ready for indexing and storage to an iManage Database. Interwoven information such as Author, Document Type, Class, Sub-Class as well as Custom Fields are all presented to the user based on their Interwoven designated security. Access to public as well as private iManage Folders is also available. The indexing and storage to iManage can also be accomplished by configuring DCIM to run as a service, utilizing the Document Metadata features of the Xerox Document Centre™ to provide indexing information from the copier.
